Boot Camp allows mac users to set up a partition to install and run Windows and its apps in a dual-boot environment. The Boot Camp update for macOS 10.14.5 comes exactly a month after the release of the macOS Mojave 10.14.5 update. Apple on May 22 released an update for macOS Mojave 10.14.5, which addressed a “firmware issue” on 2018. Whenever I try to install the macOS Mojave 10.14.5 boot camp update on one of my disks the message I receive is 'macOS Mojave 10.14.5 Boot Camp Update can't be installed on this disk. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update.' From some of the forums I've read a late 2012 shouldn't of been able to even download mojave without uninstalling boot camp first. More Less iMac (27-inch, Late 2012), macOS Mojave (10.14.1).
Problem:
I am trying to partition my hard drive but unfortunately, have been stuck with the Task Status of 'Partitioning Disk...' for hours in Boot Camp Assistant. Anyone know how I can expedite this process? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
Details:
Model: iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019)
OS: MacOs Mojave, Version 10.14.5
Windows Version: Windows Enterprise 1809 x64

Format: Iso
Output of `diskutil list` in Terminal:
Not sure if the following information is that important to the issue but...
In a stackoverflow post, I saw a user mention that you could check the progress of the disk being partitioned by going to Activity Monitor, clicking 'Disk' in the navbar, and then finding and clicking Boot Camp Assistant in the list. Apparently the process is complete when data written reaches the size of your iso file, which in my case is 4.99GB
Download Macos Mojave 10.14.6 Boot Camp Update
In my Activity Monitor, after being in the partitioning process for hours, only 16.37GB of data have been written. And Data read/sec is constantly changing, ranging from 0 bytes to ~80KB. :(
